This week Chef Ana was honored in a new book, “Morelos: Tierra de Encuentros” as being an outstanding contributor to the preservation and teaching of Morelos food traditions at La Villa Bonita Culinary Vacations. Chef Ana was presented with the new book by legendary photographer and author, Adalberto Rios Szalay, the Secretary of Tourism, Margarita Gonzalez Saravia, and Governor Cuauhtemoc Blanco.
The beautiful book created by Rios Szalay along with his sons Adalberto Rios Lanz and Ernesto Rios recognizes the achievements of Morelenses in the areas of culture, history, science, and art. Chef Ana was recognized alongside Rafael Cauduro (artist), Maestro Arturo Marquez (composer and orchestra leader), and Lourival Domingos (the scientist who developed the world standard anti-venom for scorpion bites) among other wonderful contributors.
